NovoCrete®

About NovoCrete®

NovoCrete® is a powder mineral used as a concrete add mixture in “type 1, type 2” Portland cement.
NovoCrete® combined with Portland cement and optimal water content increases the crystallize formations
during the hydration process, resulting in higher psi strengths, neutralizes Ph levels, and provides water impermeability.
NovoCrete® is an environmentally friendly mineral and is 100% recyclable.

Why NovoCrete®

Initial situation

For the erection and the maintenance of Wind farms and biomass power plants as well as PV solar farms on remote and not developed construction sites the construction of access roads and mounting and/or storage sites is necessary.

In infrastructural undeveloped and often economical not well off regions of the world the fast and cost efficient development of the infrastructure, especially of the road network, is the basic requirement for the faster economic revival and the connection of remote regions to the economic centers.
A permanent trafficability for heavy transport trucks, special equipment and cranes with axle loading over 10 tons has been just possible with conventionally and very time and cost intensive stabilization systems (soil excavation, calcium-carbonate/cement stabilization) and additional road bed (gravel, asphalt/bitumen, concrete)
Due to climate changes the roads are exposed to additional stress. This is followed by cleansing and maintenance

While using the Novocrete-Technology the soils are stabilized in a mixed-in-place-procedure by mechanical processing (dredge, molding cutter, road roller, etc.) and homogeny admixing of the Novocrete material. Then the surface will is going to be leveled.  The additional road bed is just necessary for high traffic roads. But also for these roads the basement is much less, the thickness of the road bed and the construction time is substantially reduced.
The depth of the stabilization of the soil is variable and is subject to the project requirements (bearing strength, frost resistance, wideness, etc.). Due to the short reaction time of the Novocrete-Material the construction time is reduced by approx. 50%. Normally the roads can be used after 2 days.
The „Earth concrete“ made with Novocrete stands out due to bearing strength, elasticity and endurance
With this innovative stabilization system normally cost savings of 20 to 30% will be reached
This technology is also applicable for the stabilization of contaminated soil as the hazardous substances will be encapsulated inside the treated soil.
That the building activities fulfill all quality standards will be surveyed and certified by independent leading engineers and surveyors.
